Trade-In Trade UP Promotion - Terms & Conditions

  1. This promotion runs from 01st  July 2012 – 30th September 2012 inclusive or whilst stocks last. Only qualifying products purchased within these dates are eligible for this promotion.
  2. To qualify for this promotion, the Trade- In Trade UP registration must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase of the OKI C822 Printer by online submission only at www.oki.co.uk/tradeinoffer. The participant can obtain information about the program and get a trade-in offer on the above web site. Submission of a claim under this promotion does not automatically register the product for the extended warranty.
  3. To qualify for the FREE 3 Year On-Site Warranty, the product must be registered within 30 days of the date of purchase at www.oki.co.uk/warranty. Please note that failure to use OKI original consumables will void the extended warranty. All qualifying products come with a standard 1 Year On-Site Warranty.
  4. Within the framework of the ‘trade in trade up promotion’, Oki Systems (UK) Ltd pays an appropriate trade-in value for qualifying second-hand OKI or non OKI A4 colour or mono laser product in working order that is returned to OKI against the purchase of a new OKI C822 product. If an A3 product is being traded in please select manufacturer from vendor drop down and then 'other' from trade in product drop down menu. The trade-in value, though, only ensues if the equipment the participant wants to trade-in is directly and verifiably connected to the purchase of an OKI C822. Only one product may be traded in against one purchase.
  5. The participant accepting these program terms and conditions must be the one making the trade-in claim.
  6. The cost of returning the Trade In product will be carried by Oki Systems (UK) Ltd subject to compliance of these terms and conditions.
  7. This offer is only available to END USER customers in Mainland UK, excludes Jersey,Guernsey,Ireland&Northern Irelandand while stocks last. All purchases must be from an authorised reseller within mainlandUKand providing the machine remains within this territory.
  8. This promotion applies to the OKI C822n and OKI C822dn only.
  9. There is no limit to the number of valid claims that can be made by any end user. Each printer can only be claimed for once. Any duplicate claims received will be refused.
  10. All purchases of OKI product must be originally from Oki Systems (UK) Limited.
  11. Only claims made using the official OKI Systems (UK) Ltd claim procedure will be accepted and:
    1. It must be submitted with proof of purchase (a copy of the supplier invoice) within 30 days of date of purchase. Claims received without proof of purchase will be disqualified. Only claims where the date of purchase falls within the qualifying promotional period will be valid.
    2. The valid serial number of the printer must be quoted. This can be found on the printer packaging or on the back of the printer itself.
    3. The trade in product listed must be the product returned to OKI.
  12. Upon submission of your claim form you will be issued with a unique ID number which must be used when tracking your claim through the process.
  13. The trade-in value is transferred to the participant as specified on the web by the participant. The bank account details provided during registration and the bank account holder’s address must match with the address on the invoice provided during registration. Your payment will be despatched to the BACS details quoted on the claim form after verification of your claim and proof of purchase. Please allow 45 days after validation of claim for receipt of BACS transfer.
  14. By accepting the trade-in agreement, the participant warrants that all trade-in product(s) have been owned by the participant for at least 6 months and has been used in the participant’s business. The participant must warrant that they hold legal title to the trade-in product(s), free of liens or security interest, his ownership is not subject to the rights of third parties and has the legal right to transfer the trade-in product(s) to OKI. The participant warrants that the trade-in product is free of any restrictions or encumbrances, including third-party software which may not be transferred or for which royalties are due. The trade-in agreement between OKI and the participant is achieved through the acceptance of the terms and conditions in the web registration. Trade-in agreements that contain false statements cannot be processed. OKI reserves the right to delay payment, and / or review all claims that require investigation due to suspicious activity.
  15. The trade-in product(s) must be returned complete, in good working condition and with all accessories belonging to it. Before returning the product(s) to OKI all data stored on the product must be deleted. After the return of the product(s) to OKI, no recovery of data shall be possible and OKI will not be liable for the loss of data saved on the product. OKI will in no way be responsible for the risk if any undeleted data gets into the hands of a third party. Trade-in products returned to OKI must not be contaminated with biological, chemical or radioactive materials.
  16. The trade-in product(s) must be located in MainlandUK. The participant is responsible for the de-installation of the trade-in product(s) and must properly prepare the trade-in product(s) for shipment. OKI will pay for shipping provided all terms and conditions are followed:
    1. The trade-in product(s) should be packed in the packing of the purchased C822 or a sturdy cardboard box suitable for shipping.
    2. The shipping label provided after registration is used and securely affixed to the packaging. (It is important to attach the shipping label as it will be used for processing the application and the trade-in product(s).
    3. OKI is not responsible for paying for proper packaging to ship the trade-in product(s).
    4. The trade-in product(s) to be collected must be packed ready for shipment and needs to be packed on pallets if its weight exceeds 70 kg. The trade-in reference number must be clearly visible on the outside of the packaging. The shipping label must be attached in a way that it is easy to read and cannot be lost. The collection must be carried out from the entrance door on the ground floor.
    5. On the agreed date, OKI will dispatch a carrier to the address stated by the participant in the web registration. If it is not possible for the carrier to come on the agreed date, the carrier will contact the participant to agree a new date. If the trade-in product(s) are not ready for pick-up on the agreed date and the carrier has to come again on another day, the participant will be charged the incurred additional cost. (This will be deducted from any payment due to the participant).
    6. The period between acceptance of registration and actual pick-up of the trade-in product must not exceed 10 working days.
    7. All toner cartridges must be removed from the printer(s) prior to shipping. They may be included in the same package as the trade-in product(s), but they must be securely wrapped and bagged separately.
  17. The ownership of the trade-in product will be transferred to OKI upon handover of the product to the carrier. The delivery of the trade-in product to OKI’s designated carrier shall be final and effective to transfer title of such product to OKI’s handling house free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.
  18. Trade-in products defined in the web registration under the program must be handed over to OKI to qualify. After collection, no trade-in product (including accessories) can be returned again to the participant. These goods remain the property of OKI.
  19. If a trade-in product other than that stated in the web registration has been returned to OKI, OKI is entitled to recycle the product, insofar as the mistake was not obvious for OKI and the claim will become null and void.
  20. OKI warrants environmentally friendly disposal of trade-in products.
  21. Offers stated cannot be changed, upgraded or extended. No alternative promotional options will be given unless advised.
  22. Any decisions relating to the promotion are the sole reserve of OKI Systems (UK) Ltd. OKI Systems (UK) Ltd reserves the right to amend, extend or terminate this promotion without prior notice.
  23. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion and excludes OKI supported special priced orders or second user, demonstration or ex-demonstration models.
  24. Oki Systems (UK) Ltd reserves the right to withhold claims for any OKI products that have not been paid for or have been returned and/or credited.
  25. The following applies with regards to VAT in line with VAT Notice 700/7. 
    1. All VAT registered companies are liable for a reduction of input VAT of £12.50 on the £75 cashback.
